Course overview:

Recruiting the right staff for your organisation is as critical a process as ensuring you develop them to reach their potential . Are you confident your managers have the right skills to make the right decision? The session will be tailored specifically to your organisation but would typically cover:

  • The importance of relevant  behavioral and technical competencies in the recruitment process and knowing how to establish them through creating clear job and person profiles
  • Confidence in conducting a competency based interview: structure, questioning technique, listening skills, knowing when and how to probe deeper to get the information you need, and timing to ensure the candidate can ask the questions they need answered too
  • Knowing the law: Avoiding discrimination and making a confident, fair and justified decision
